A Message to Expectant Mothers
Pregnancy is a necessary stage in the lives of most women. During pregnancy, the body undergoes significant changes, including a thicker waist, larger hips, a broader back, and fuller arms. Emotionally, women may also experience mood swings, anxiety, and uneasiness.
In terms of physiological changes, apart from the accumulation of fat after childbirth, which can lead to weight gain, chiropractors also point out that expectant mothers may experience increasing strain on their lower back as the baby grows during pregnancy. After childbirth, frequently bending over to care for a newborn can also lead to lower back pain.
The traditional belief among pregnant women is to get back into shape only after giving birth. I believe this approach is already a step too late, because body shape begins to change in the early stages of pregnancy. Getting back into shape should start from the very beginning - staying fit while pregnant.
